Eric B. Sandler practices workers’ compensation, social security disability, and
claims under the Longshore and Harbor Compensation Act, as a Shareholder in the law firm
of Levine, Schnepper & Sandler, P.A.
Eric is a native New Yorker and is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he received
a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, in 1984. He then obtained his
Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1988. Eric is a member
of the Florida Bar, U.S. District Courts, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and is also
a member of the United States District Court of Appeal, for the Eleventh Circuit.
Eric has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Florida Bar Workers’
Compensation Rules Advisory Committee. He is a Trustee, and was Past President, of The
Friends of 440, Inc., where he was the 2006 Honoree Award recipient. He is a Trustee, the
current President of South Florida’s chapter, as well as President of the Statewide board,
of the Friends of 440 Scholarship Fund, Inc., which organization provides financial
assistance to students who are children of injured workers, or those otherwise involved
primarily in the field or Workers’ Compensation. Eric was the recipient of the Friends of
440 Scholarship Fund, Inc. sprestigious Richard A. Sadow Award in 2009-2010. He is also
on the Board of Directors, Executive Council, and is currently the Vice President of Florida
Workers Advocates. Eric will be President of that organization in June 2023. He has served
on numerous committees, including the C0-Chair of the Florida Workers Advocates
Education Conference for several years. In 202o, Eric was invited to become a member
of prestigious Richard A. Sicking Inn of Court.
