Attorney Profiles
Clifford
is an associate at Levine, Busch, Schnepper & Stein. He grew up
in Miami and attended undergraduate, graduate and Law School at the
University of Florida (Go Gators!) Although he is not fluent in Spanish,
he speaks well enough and often communicates with Spanish speaking clients
without an interpreter. Clifford's
main duties include meeting with new workers' compensation clients to
assess their cases and assisting in evaluating the legal aspects of
their claims and attending depositions and trial work on those cases.
He develops strategies on how to handle claims and also instructs clients
on their legal options. Clifford attends most claimant depositions,
settlement conferences (before a case may go to final hearing) and,
if a case isn't settled, he then prepares the pre-trial stipulation
for workers' compensation cases. Pre-trial stipulations are written
agreements where both parties explain to the Judge what the issues are
and how they will be presented at the final hearing. In cases that aren't
settled, he may also handle the final hearing before the Judge. Cliff is married to Ginger and has one son, Jacob. He has been an associate of the Firm since 1995.
